Hanson Aggregates

Hanson Aggregates is the largest aggregates producer in the world, the second largest aggregate producer in California, and the largest producer of cement in northern California. Hanson purchased Kaiser Sand & Gravel (established in 1923) in 1992, and Kaiser Cement (established 1939) in 1981. They have three sources for aggregates in the Bay Area:

• Clayton, Concord-Walnut Creek
• Sunol
