CEMEX Eliot Quarry

The Eliot #104 plant is a sand and gravel operation producing aggregates of greywacke and sandstone suitable for normal strength concrete (3000 to 4000 psi). 

This is an inexpensive aggregate with only moderate shrinkage characteristics.  Total output is up to 1.5 million tons per year, and supply is estimated at about 20 years.  The plant is located in the Pleasonton/Livermore area.
