Ms. Bernstein joined the firm as Of Counsel
in 2007.

Ms. Bernstein concurrently serves as General Counsel for AGI Capital Group, Inc., a dynamic and fast growing real estate development and management company. Prior to that, Ms. Bernstein served as Real Estate Counsel to Google, Inc.and as Managing Counsel at Equity Office Properties.  She began her career as an associate at the Los Angeles office of Cox Castle & Nicholson, which she left to return to San Francisco as an associate at Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe. 

Ms. Bernstein’s legal experience spans all facets of a commercial real estate practice including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, construction, environmental, property management and leasing, entity formation.  She has specific experience in the development of master planned communities, luxury resorts, low income and assisted care housing, and large data center projects.  Her work has been local, national and international in scope, and has included responsibility for Google’s real estate transactions in Asia, Australia, Latin America, the Eastern U.S.A. and Canada and Bay Area.  

Ms. Bernstein graduated in December 1995 from University of California at Berkeley, where she was a member of the California Law Review and the La Raza Law Journal.
