Ms. Shores joined the firm as Senior Counsel in 2004.

Ms. Shores’s practice has included representation of tenants and landlords in commercial leases, acquisitions and dispositions of real property, lending and borrowing in real estate finance transactions, including construction and permanent loans, and general corporate matters. Her clients have included financial institutions, developers, landlords, and tenants.

Prior to joining SSL Law Firm, Ms. Shores was a partner with Real Estate Law Group, LLP. Prior to Real Estate Law Group, Ms. Shores was a real estate partner with MBV Law LLP (then known as Mandel, Buder & Jacobsen LLP). Ms. Shores has also been a member of the real estate group at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison for five years, and practiced with Farella, Braun & Martel, LLP for several years.

Ms. Shores received her B.A. with a double major in Economics and Urban Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1977, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. from the University of California in Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, in 1981, where she was Note and Comment Editor of the California Law Review. Ms. Shores is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association.
